Shaped from a piece of Scots Pine (pinus sylvestris) the British Isles only native pine. This piece of wood came from one of my many tree pruning works when i was much younger.
The stone set into this piece are Labradorite with a blue flash.
The front face shows the natural under bark patterning and where both pieces of Labradorite sit were the naturally formed branch joints. The branch join where the larger teardrop Labradorite is set had died naturally then started to decayed and the trees outside visual repair can be seen surrounding it.
A small spiral is burnt onto one end using a piece of wire heated in a fire.
Length approx. 8cm
